    Inside Sales Representative – Sub 100 renewal

    This entry-level inside sales position's primary focus will be to maintain, renew and up sell Trend Micro’s current customer account base of 5 to 100 users. Working closely with channel partners to provide information and support of the sales of Trend Micro’s products and services. 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Meet or exceed activity thresholds pertinent to success in territory
    • Responsible for achieving specified revenue quota, pipeline, forecast and customer & channel partner satisfaction.
    • Inbound and outbound account management with customers and channel partners
    • Use consultative skills and technical knowledge to develop and maximize sales opportunities
    • Up sell and cross sell new products, add-ons, professional services, and maintenance


    • Candidates should have Customer Service or Sales background and the ability to work in a team environment.
    • Candidates must be energetic, have a good attitude and solid work ethic.
    • Strong communication and phone skills are required.
    • Must be capable of organizing and extensively communicating within Trend and its customers
    • One year of sales/customer service is required.
    • College degree is preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding presentation and organizational skills
    • Proficiency using mainstream PC applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is preferred
    • Proficient with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solutions
    • Rock-solid time management skills
    • Ability to overcome and handle objections
    • Ability to drive and close a large volume of medium and smaller sized transactions
    • Must be a “closer”; candidate must have prior experience of going beyond lead-gen and cold calling, to closing the deal on the phone.

    Experience Required

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of successful sales experience in high-tech or related industry.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Software, AV, application and/or security industry preferred but not necessary.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Candidates must be energetic, have a good attitude and solid work ethic.
    • Strong communication and phone skills are required
