    The Distribution Account Manager (DAM) will support the growth of all business of assigned distributor partner by recruiting, enabling and growing key reseller partners and developing distributor sales motion in alignment with Trend Micro strategic direction. The Distribution Account Manager will have responsibility for working with various internal and external resources to identify partners for focus, expansion and growth.  This includes developing and implementing recruiting account-specific plans and sales strategies designed to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals.  Working closely with Trend Micro Marketing teams, DAM will be responsible for all business development and marketing activities and will hold financial responsibility for associated budgets.

     

    This DAM will be responsible for managing all aspects of distributor partner relationships and will continue to brand Trend Micro with the partner's executive staff, senior and middle management, and sales and technical consultants.  They will also work closely with our channel and sales teams across the US region to maximize sales opportunity collaboratively.  DAM will be the primary enabler of assigned distributor partner with regard to product information, target markets and business development.  The Distribution Account Manager will also be responsible for all operational, accounting, financial, order management, inventory, systems procedures and other non-sales aspects of assigned distributor partner.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and drive assigned distribution partner recruitment and sales action plans to increase sales volume in all markets across the Trend Micro product portfolio to all levels of partner management and sales team.
    • Provide training and education on sales, marketing, customer service, products, markets, ordering procedures etc.
    • Provide business and sales support to assigned distributor partner
    • Manage deal registration and sales pipeline in coordination with Trend Micro and channel partner sales teams.
    • Ongoing coaching of assigned distributor sales teams

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • 3-5 years experience managing strategic channel partner relationships
    • Experience with managed services channel partners is a plus
    • Experience in Event Management, presentation, public speaking
    • Bachelor's Degree; Business Administration preferred
    • Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time
    • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
