    The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is responsible to support the growth of the SMB business by recruiting, enabling and growing key partners. The Channel Account Manager will travel and have responsibility for working with various internal and external resources to identify partners for focus, expansion and growth.  This includes developing and implementing recruiting account-specific plans and sales strategies designed to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals. 


    This individual will be responsible for managing key channel partner relationships and will continue to brand Trend Micro with the partner's executive staff, senior and middle management, and sales and technical consultants.  They will also work closely with our channel and sales teams across the region.  The Channel Account Manager will be tasked with specific recruitment, enablement, communication and revenue objectives aligned with the objectives of the SMB Channel Management team.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and drive channel partner recruitment and sales action plans to increase sales volume in all verticals across the Trend portfolio to all levels of partner management and sales team.
    • Special emphasis includes mid-size VARs, MSP/MSSP/Hosters/Cloud Brokers and Hybrid VARS
    • Present training and education on sales, marketing, customer service, products, markets, ordering procedures etc.
    • Provide business and sales support to channel partners
    • Manage deal registration and sales pipeline in coordination with internal sales leadership and channel partner sales leadership.
    • Ongoing coaching of partner sales teams


    • 3-5 years experience managing strategic channel partner relationships
    • Experience with managed services channel partners is a plus
    • Experience in Event Management, presentation, public speaking
    • Bachelor's Degree; Business Administration preferred
    • Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time
    • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
