    You will be responsible for understanding the requirements for control-plane software, translating those requirements into executable designs, planning for the development and realizing the implementation. The control plane software provides functionality such as security policy configuration, real-time status, high availability, secure software update, user management, etc. Technologies include C/C++, Linux and much more.

     

    Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of C/C++, especially in a multi-threaded and/or multi-process system.
    • Familiarity with Linux operating system.
    • Understanding of networking and the TCP/IP stack.
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, XEN).
    • Familiarity with iterative development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
    • An open and collaborative mindset suited to a high performing team.
    • A customer-driven perspective.
    • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

    Highly Desirable Skills

    • Experience with virtual device drivers vmxnet3, virtio etc.
    • Experience with virtualization management systems libvirt, vcenter.
    • Experience developing applications for AWS, Azure, OpenStack.
