    Trend Micro NABU IT team oversees server, application deployment, and manages on both environments of Private and Public Cloud network infrastructures. As member of the IT Operations team, our engineers work with the other teams in Trend Micro services folks and R&D partners to provide High Availability (HA) services to our customers. Part of running an HA platform includes on-call duties as well as off-time upgrades and maintenance. The engineers provide input on and execute security and efficient deployment practices, scaling and metrics, as well as running general day-to-day infrastructure management.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot server problems dealing with performance, system hardware problems, network problems and application issues escalated by 24/7 team or service partners.
    • Work under the direction of the Supervisors and system architects to help with implementation of technical designs and systems delivery.
    • Make recommendations on performance, reliability, security and scalability by improving internal processes and making recommendations on new hardware, and software.
    • Work with the Supervisors to generate reports and show the capabilities and capacities of managed systems.
    • Perform a technical sharing with other engineers.
    • Work to maintain a 99.9 uptime on all managed system at optimal performance using internal / external diagnostic monitoring tools.
    • Collaborate with teammates in different regions to develop policy and procedures.
    • Work on special projects assigned by the team manager.


    • At least 5 years of experience in deploying, supporting, and excellent in computer, good communication skill, energetic, hardworking and able to handle branch office independently.
    • Excellent hands-on experience with open-source UNIX environment as well as Windows server 2008 and above. (AD/DNS/RADIUS/Proxy Server, Wireless controller, VMware 6.0)
    • Experience of unix/linux scripting using Python or C-unix programming language preferred.
    • Knowledge in TRPG and/or SaaS-based server/network management & monitoring tool.
    • Hands on experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software related issue (Server, Router, Switch, PBX).
    • Familiar with an administrative language, e.g. Perl or shell script programming.
    • Familiar with Unix/Linux SQL DB platforms, e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL.
    • Independent problem solver and capable of working with little supervision.
    • Ability to work on-call in a 24/7 environment.
    • Analytical and quality driven
    • RHCE/Linux+/Windows Certified is a plus.
