    We are seeking a top tier database marketing and analytic expert to join the Consumer Online Marketing team. You will partner with key stakeholders in Consumer Online Marketing team and product groups to provide and critical business insights and actionable metrics for driving our online conversion and retention. You will be responsible for mining, analyzing, and synthesizing insights from different data sources to identify opportunities for incremental revenue lift and operational efficiency enhancement. You will also have the opportunity to engage in different online/digital marketing initiatives to help optimize our existing business and expand our footprint in exciting new areas.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Specific responsibilities in this role include: 

    • Conduct analysis to understand subscriber/user behavior in areas related to shopping patterns, product choice, upsell potential, engagement, retention and lifetime value
    • Work with other Marketing Managers to define and execute segmentation strategies for our lifecycle campaigns via the email, in-product notification and other channels.
    • Collaborate with other Marketing Managers to design, structure, and analyze the results from various A/B testing initiatives, such as creative design, pricing, etc.
    • Be the domain expert of the customer, license and sales data. Extract, interpolate, and translate business requirements into data models to fulfill analytic needs.
    • Develop solid understanding our business logic and provide expert advice and education in the usage and interpretation of data for the Online Marketing organization.
    • Partner with internal departments and external SaaS vendors to aggregate and transform data to expand the 360⁰ customer view.
    • Support on-going revenue forecast and business KPI tracking, and perform ad hoc analyses to allow executive business decision making.
    • Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Implement fixes and design data audits to capture the issues in the future.

    Experience Required

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a data-driven information environment - ideally in a consumer-facing or web-based business. S/he must be comfortable handling large amount of consumer data and working with data mining and reporting tools and is experienced in crafting and presenting analyses.

    • MS/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business or other quantitative field or relevant work experience
    • Passion for - and background in - leveraging data to drive significant business impact
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality analytics deliverables
    • Experience with consumer software, apps & services, and ideally with subscription model business
    • Experience with analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting, particularly Tableau and KNIME
    • Experience with relational databases and SQL for analytic processing.
    • Experience with CRM/Responsys platform, Google Analytics or other digital marketing systems a major plus
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Responsive, team-oriented personal style for effectiveness with internal clients and colleagues
    • Flexibility and comfort working in a dynamic organization with minimal documentation and process
