    Trend Micro is seeking an Analyst to join the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team for a 6 month paid graduate internship.  The successful candidate should have graduated from university no more than one year ago.  The Graduate Analyst will be a member of the FP&A team reporting directly to the North America Director of FP&A. 

    The position requires the successful candidate to develop skills in the areas of:

    • Analysis and documentation
    • Budgeting
    • Communication
    • Leveraging systems to automate processes

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Update the OPEX (expense) analysis for a variety of departments on a regular basis
    • Summarize the OPEX results for the department head and highlight any areas of concern
    • Assist department managers in the preparation of their Annual and 2nd Half budget submissions
    • Support a variety of tasks during month end (journal entries, accruals, expense reporting)
    • Perform the finance review of expense contracts
    • Help the Sales Group manage a variety of Sales Incentive programs
    • Generate analysis weekly and quarterly to track and explain the performance of the programs
    • Ensure payments are calculated correctly and processed on time
    • Maintain rebate calculation instructions that are detailed and up-to-date
    • Take over some of the duties of your colleagues when they are on scheduled leave
    • Support special projects as required

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics

    Experience Required

    • Detail oriented with excellent analytic skills and interest in identifying and fixing problems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly summarize data findings and effectively communicate results
    • Experience with Excel/Access / Hyperion Planning / Essbase a plus
