Platform developers are responsible for providing the operational software infrastructure necessary for efficient, robust, and highly-available network security applications. This includes implementing device drivers, porting operating systems, interfacing with custom ASICs and FPGAs, creating and managing APIs for hardware interaction, handling device bring-up and shutdown, and debugging interactions between hardware and software. The candidate should be comfortable working in a cross-functional team involving hardware and FPGA design, quality assurance, system architecture, and external ASIC and operating system vendors.
