The Cloud Success Coordinator [CSC] is responsible for nurturing public cloud (AWS) specific opportunities to successful conclusion. The CSC will work with lead development, enterprise field (sales and technical) as well as the AWS solution team to move opportunities through Trend Micro successfully based on the needs of the opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop Trend Micro AWS cloud business within the US with emphasis on successful evaluation and initial adoption of Deep Security.
  • Product Focus – Deep Security
  • CSCs will be required to monitor, nurture and direct opportunities through the engagement with the customer and multiple Trend Micro teams, depending on the needs of the opportunity.
  • Candidates must have a proven track record demonstrating their ability to comprehend new technology and effectively interact with sales, marketing and technical teams.
  • Candidates must have the ability to effectively present new technology and convey, internally and externally, how customers will use Trend Micro products and solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while responding to phone, e-mail and online requests for cloud opportunity support
  • Represent the customer to ensure successful evaluation and initial adoption
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimum supervision
  • Work closely with and periodically support, the Lead Development Team
  • Other duties as assigned


The ideal Cloud Success Coordinator will demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, evidenced by their ability to expand upon core knowledge quickly. They should be highly analytical with the ability to derive facts quickly, methodically, and accurately. This is a customer-facing role where you will work to understand customer requirements, assist customers in successful evaluation and coordinate the engagement of other Trend Micro groups in support of the opportunity.


Demonstrated proficiency with security as it relates to several of the following:

  • Deep Security
  • Microsoft Windows, including ability to troubleshoot services, applications, and drivers
  • Linux, Unix
  • Amazon AWS (Microsoft Azure would be desirable)
  • Network technologies (firewalls, routers, switches)
  • Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP etc.)
  • Familiar with SSL communication and other encryption technologies
  • Packet trace analysis
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting server security solutions

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of related experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Desired security network, and systems related professional certifications are a plus
  • Able to debug problems and deliver solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work through complex problems by engaging appropriate resources
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized, attention to detail and accountable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to present to small groups of technical individuals
    High attention to detail
  • Enjoys problem solving and working with others teams
