The HR Business Partner, Junior role provides HR tactical support, management consultation and employee relations services to our US Sales organization.  This role will focus on facilitating many key people initiatives as an investment in our ongoing sales growth and retention.  This role will provide HR support, tools and strategies that optimize our people productivity and retention, processes and culture, and facilitating business results.  The junior HR BP role will report to the HR Director, Sr. HRBP leader that supports the America’s BU sales groups. 


Successful candidate has proven experience in the following areas:

  • Influencing sales leaders and employees by recommending new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and employee development
  • Managing activities associated with workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations
  • Advising and coaching managers and leadership on HR best practices
  • Strong skills in mediating conflicts and collaboratively finding solutions to enhance business deliverables
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus, with the ability to efficiently communicate and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Co-facilitation of training, and roll out of various HR compensation, benefits, performance management, relation relations initiatives, and business line programs
  • Coordinating performance management and succession planning programs that continuously improve workforce productivity, increase leadership development, and helps managers to differentiate employee productivity and performance standards
  • Maintaining knowledge of local labor market trends and coach managers on competitive ways to attract and retain top talent
  • Contributing to the development and facilitation of multiple org development, reward and recognition, team building and conflict resolution initiatives
  • Experience supporting a direct client population of 300 – 500 employees, preferably in Sales, technology, marketing and operations
  • Experience directly supporting employees with limited HR infrastructure and resources
  • Key role success factors : easy going nature and flexibility, strong work ethic, high influencing skills, dynamic interpersonal and written communication skills, HR employment law and generalist experience, and cultural sensitivity


  • Bachelors’ Degree required, MS or MBA preferred; HR certification strongly  preferred
  • Experience in fast paced, high-tech, software, or start-up company experience is required
  • 3 - 5 years HR Business Partner or Generalist experience, with 5 years of overall HR generalist experience required
  • Direct support as an HR Generalist or HR BP for a sales organization required
  • Experience with rapidly changing and complex work environments
  • Application of US HR employment law knowledge and experience
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Basic HRIS reporting skills, techniques and practices; PS and ICIMS experience preferred
  • Experience in high tech, software, and start-up company experience is preferred
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Exceptional verbal/written skills, diplomacy and responsiveness
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer service, positive influencing and tactful messaging in a professional manner
  • Strict confidentiality of employee and company data
  • Collaborating and flexibly working with HR team and other corporate functional groups
  • Excellent PC skills, including advanced MS Office skills; advanced Excel skills
  • Experience and fundamental knowledge of compensation and commission plans
  • Must be adaptable to frequent, unplanned change and demands to meet the business goals
