Duties & Responsibilities

The principle responsibilities for AWS intern is to develop server-less functions on Amazon Web Services to enable on-demand capabilities to automate, integrate, and display business logic for TippingPoint infrastructure and security devices.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop a secure access AWS portal to enable server-less lambda functions.
  • Develop and code AWS lambda functions in javascript and/or typescript to enable server-less functions
  • Automate and document test cases/scenarios and new feature specifications
  • Help investigate, evaluate, select, and integrate best available framework/tool solutions to achieve the task and program level goals
  • Manage source code and administer revision control system
  • Participate on a Scrum team, including all Agile and Scrum related activities

Experience Required

  • Experience with javascript programming, particularly with Node.js
  • Preferred experience and/or have completed projects with Amazon Web Services infrastructure especially involving lambda functions, AWS API gateway, S3 Buckets, etc.
  • Experience with version control software (e.g., git, svn)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
