We are looking for an experienced Continuous Integration Developer to join the Deep Security as a Service agile product development team. You will share responsibility for building, deploying and managing the operation of an enterprise-class SaaS running in the cloud. This hands-on product development role demands experience in continuous integration and delivery as well as the security and operations of a 24x7 service. Key stakeholder relationships include SaaS operation center (SOC), customers, product management, application developers, information security, and support teams. This role includes aspects of research and development, software builds, developer productivity, deployment, operations, security architecture and security analysis supporting our SaaS offering.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive process automation and developer productivity initiatives related to the building and deploying of Deep Security software.
  • Live and breathe the health of the services you’re responsible for, with the never ending goal of strangling every last bit of performance out of the system
  • Ensure the service performance, availability and reliability of all servers and services within the SaaS
  • Provide operational support and automation tools to application developers, and to improve service operations
  • Build back-end frameworks that are maintainable, flexible and scalable
  • Have a strong focus on metrics, measurement, and reporting on and improving service levels
  • Exceptional prioritization skills, including transparently communicating and justifying time investments
  • Be passionate about cloud computing, research and implement new technologies and processes as they become available with the goal of learning and improving service quality and reducing costs
  • Responsible for operational excellence of service operation to achieve high level SLAs
  • Build cross functional alignment with internal business partners to deliver optimal services experience
  • Implement systems monitoring and deploy tools to improve operational performance and efficiency plan and perform data center failover, high availability failover, and disaster recovery tests on a regular basis for all data centers world wide

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in related discipline, advanced degree desired
  • At least one major Information Security certification (CISSP, GIAC, etc.) or provable security experience and skills
  • At least three years of experience in any three of the following areas: servers, cloud computing, virtualization, storage, database, or network
  • At least two years of successful experience in large scale service build out and operation
  • At least one year IT operation related experience
  • Hands on infrastructure, systems and application architecture experience in large scale, web-based applications
  • Excellent Linux and Windows scripting skills
  • Experience with testing and managing high availability environments with performance of disaster recovery tests on a regular basis.
  • Understanding of load testing, monitoring and performance management tools for every layer of the environment
  • Familiar with various performance monitoring and profiling tools
  • Strong customer service & customer focus with the ability to provide service to all levels of the organization
