Junior Manager is responsible for selling Trend Micro products and services in assigned territories, paired up alongside a Trend Micro Outside Enterprise Regional Account Manager.  The person in this role will work in collaboration with their outside RAM, Sales Engineer, Sales Management and Marketing to coordinate and plan sales activities within their assigned territory. They will be responsible for outbound calling to new or prospective customers and driving new meetings, product demonstrations and helping to arrange product proof of concepts.  They will qualify and follow up with sales leads and have a thorough knowledge of Trend Micro products and services.  They will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with industry knowledge as well as the competitive landscape.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teamed with an outside Regional Account Manager, they will help develop Trend Micro business to new prospective organizations and on new cross-sell/upsell to existing customer base to existing Trend Micro customers.
  • Candidate will be a hunter primarily through outbound calling efforts to organizations over 1000 employees as coordinated with their outside Regional Account Manager that they will be teamed with in their territory assignment.
  • Product Focus – Entire Trend Micro Portfolio
  • Candidate will work intensively to increase and improve product awareness within assigned territory by building and maintaining relationships with customers and channel partners
  • Candidates must have a proven track record in Telesales and ideally can demonstrate their ability to comprehend new technology and to develop strategies to get Trend Micro meetings created for increasing sales.
  • Candidates must have the ability to engage over the phone to identify customer’s pains & challenges then effectively present how our solutions can address their needs.  It is also critical to convey, internally and externally, how customers use Trend Micro products and solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Math, or Computer Science is preferred.  Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience Required

  • 3+ in selling software or technology with inside sales and channel experience, where the 3+ in selling software or technology with inside sales and channel experience, where the target customers have been large enterprise organizations engaging with IT and or Security teams.
  • Travel is minimal, but flexibility to support the assigned territory is needed.
    • This role is based out of our Jersey City location.
  • Strong independent work ethic.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • CRM system utilization –Salesforce.com a plus.
